Dragana Rakic

Practice Areas

Dragana joined Stockwoods as an associate in 2019 after clerking for Chief Justice Wagner at the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to her call to the bar in 2017, she completed her articles as a clerk to the judges of the Ontario Divisional Court and the Superior Court of Justice and summered at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, where she primarily assisted with criminal appeals.

Dragana obtained her JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. While at law school, she assisted clients with criminal and immigration matters as a caseworker at the University of Toronto’s legal clinic, served as the co-chair of the Criminal Law Students’ Association, and worked as a research assistant for several professors.

Prior to attending law school, Dragana obtained her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biology from Queen’s University and completed an M.Sc. in Developmental Genetics at McGill University.


Representative Work

Dragana practices across all of the firm’s practice areas and has a particular interest in public law litigation. As a judicial law clerk, Dragana worked on cases in a variety of areas of the law. She looks forward to drawing on this experience in the service of clients as she builds her litigation practice.
