Paul Le Vay and Luisa Ritacca act in Nortel mediation

Stockwoods partners Paul Le Vay and Luisa Ritacca began in their role as counsel to Ontario Chief Justice Warren Winkler, in his role as both U.S. and Canadian Court-appointed mediator of the complex international insolvency of the former Nortel.  The mediation, which seeks to resolve the distribution of approximately $9 billion in assets of the former Nortel, involves both assets and interested parties from numerous jurisdictions in addition to the U.S. and Canada, including the United Kingdom and France.  The Globe and Mail reported on the commencement of the mediation here.
