Myles Goodman-Vincent

Myles practices in commercial and civil litigation, public and administrative law, and criminal and regulatory law. He joined Stockwoods LLP as an associate in 2024.

Myles clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal, assisting judges with appeals and judicial reviews. He previously completed his articles as a judicial law clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in the Central West Region, where he worked on criminal and civil matters and assisted judges of the Divisional Court. Before clerking, Myles summered at a leading plaintiff-side class action firm.

Myles received his J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During law school, he assisted clients as a caseworker at Downtown Legal Services. He also worked as a research assistant, served as a senior editor for the Journal of Law & Equality and the Critical Analysis of Law Journal, and was involved in moots as both a competitor and coach.

Before law school, Myles worked for both a government and opposition Member of Parliament through the non-partisan Parliamentary Internship Programme. He holds an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. (Hons.) with distinction from Queen’s University.

Doxy.me Inc. v. Ontario Health, 2026 ONSC 1610 — Represented a global telemedicine platform on judicial review before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Divisional Court), obtaining a finding that Ontario Health’s conclusion that Doxy.me holds personal health information was unreasonable.

R. v. Swaine, 2025 ONCA 313, 2025 ONCA 471 — Represented an intervenor, the Office of the Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice, in an application before the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Q.M.S.Q. v. S.Q., 2021 ONCJ 334, 2021 ONCJ 381 — Lead caseworker and second chair in a trial before the Ontario Court of Justice successfully representing a mother in her request to limit the father’s parenting time and obtain a restraining order. Successfully obtained requested costs.
