Stockwoods successfully prosecutes senior Toronto police officer for misconduct

In reasons released to the parties on March 1, 2013, Toronto Police Staff Inspector Steven Izzett was found to have committed misconduct on five counts involving sexual harassment of an inferior officer and deployment of data destruction software on a Service computer in his possession while under suspension.  Stockwoods lawyers Brian Gover, Brendan van Niejenhuis and Edward Marrocco acted as Prosecution counsel throughout the proceedings, which began in 2009.  To read the Toronto Star report on the case, click here.
