Aimee Huntington

Practice Areas

Aimee was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. Before joining Stockwoods in 2025, she worked as a Judicial Assistant at the High Court of England and Wales (Chancery Division) and as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honourable Madam Justice McVeigh at the Federal Court, also assisting with Court Martial Appeal Court matters. She previously summered with an international law firm in Calgary.

Aimee holds a Master of Laws (Public Law) from the London School of Economics, where she graduated with distinction. She received her Juris Doctor and Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary, placing on the Dean’s List. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where she was an undergraduate researcher in a freshwater and marine ecology laboratory.

Throughout her education, Aimee was a student-athlete, representing several university teams. She was an avid mooter, including coaching a team at the LSE, and volunteered with two public interest clinics, where she primarily assisted on environmental matters.

Representative Work

As a judicial assistant at the High Court, Aimee worked on cases involving breaches of confidence, committals for contempt of court, contractual interpretation claims, patent infringement, and equitable claims such as fraudulent misrepresentation and breaches of fiduciary duties.

Assisted an environmental charity with litigation relating to the Alberta Government’s decision to rescind the 1976 Coal Policy.
