Zachary Rosen

Practice Areas

Zachary’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, criminal defence, and administrative and public law. He has also worked on media and defamation cases, professional discipline, and public inquiries.

Zachary was called to the bar in 2024 after obtaining his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During law school, Zachary received the Martin L. Friedland Prize for best contribution to the Law Review, was co-chair of the Frank W. Callaghan Memorial moot competition, and worked as a research assistant in property law, constitutional law, and municipal law. Before law school, Zachary studied philosophy and history at the University of Toronto.

Representative Work

Dong v. Global News, 2024 ONSC 3532
Represented the plaintiff in successfully resisting an anti-SLAPP motion brought by a news organization against a public figure.

Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference
Represented a Member of Parliament before the Public Inquiry into foreign election interference.
