Court of Appeal upholds investment management judgment in favour of Stockwoods client

On January 12, 2007, the Ontario Court of Appeal released its ruling upholding the decision of Matlow J. in 2878852 Canada Inc. v. Jones Heward Investment Counsel. The Court’s decision upholds the finding that the defendant mismanaged certain investments placed with it by the plaintiff, and the resulting award of $1.02M.
