At the Ontario Bar Association’s annual conference on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Stockwoods counsel Nader R. Hasan will be part of a panel providing on update on key Charter developments in the area of criminal law. Topics will include: how the Supreme Court of Canada defines “jury representativeness”; the Supreme Court’s framework for evaluating the constitutionality of mandatory minimum sentences; and the law of search and seizure as it relates to digital devices.
