Stockwoods lawyers named to Benchmark Litigation’s Under 40 Hotlist

Benchmark Litigation has recognized three of our partners, — Andrea Gonsalves, Nader Hasan and Gerald Chan, to its “Under 40 Hotlist” in Canada.

Andrea has a broad-based civil litigation practice and also focusses on administrative and regulatory law.  Gerald and Nader both focus on public law litigation, with expertise in criminal, constitutional, and regulatory law.  Among other things, Benchmark notes Nader’s advocacy in a landmark Supreme Court case concerning the Crown’s duty to consult Indigenous peoples (which he recently won) and Gerald’s defence of Uber partners in regulatory prosecutions (which have led to hundreds of charges being withdrawn and stayed).

Benchmark also notes that Stockwoods is a firm that is “revered for its litigation pedigree”.

The entire list and accompanying editorial can be found on Benchmark Litigation’s website.
