Toronto police officer found guilty of misconduct during G20 summit

In reasons released today by the Hon. Walter Gonet, Hearing Officer, Toronto Police Constable Bejamin Ardiles was found to have committed an unlawful and unnecessary arrest of the complainant, Mr. Michael Williams, during the events of the G20 summit held in Toronto in June, 2010.  Stockwoods lawyers Brendan van Niejenhuis and Edward Marrocco acted as counsel for the Prosecution at the hearing.  To read the decision, click here.
