Practice Areas
Laura joined Stockwoods in 2025 following a clerkship at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She previously worked as a summer student at another top litigation boutique in Toronto, a leading global full service firm in New York City, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Laura completed her J.D. (with distinction) at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she won several awards, including two prizes for the top cumulative achievement in criminal law in her graduating class. During law school, Laura participated in the Kawaskimhon Aboriginal Law Moot and the Wilson Moot (where her team won first place), worked as an editor on the Law Review, and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.
Laura has a PhD in English from McGill University, where she specialized in Canadian poetry. She has taught more than 20 university literature courses, and also worked as an editor at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
