Madeleine Harvey

Practice Areas

Madeleine is a student at Osgoode Hall Law School where she was involved in the Disability Law Intensive Program at ARCH Disability Law Centre, the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP), and the Journal of Law and Social Policy. She also participated in the Criminal Law Society’s Sentencing Hearing Competition. This summer at Stockwoods, Madeleine is excited to be exposed to a broad range of legal areas, work with the amazing Stockwoods team, and gain hands-on litigation experience.

When Madeleine is not studying or working, she can most likely be found running along Toronto’s waterfront, watching local bands, or Facetiming her dog.

A book, show, podcast, or movie Madeleine would recommend is Humankind: A Hopeful History by Rutger Bregman.

Three songs Madeleine can listen to on repeat right now are Pretty Polly by Judy Collins, This Must Be the Place by the Talking Heads, and Next of Kin by Lucy Dacus.

Madeleine’s go-to comfort dinner is Pad Thai with tofu.
