Stockwoods lawyer Andrea Gonsalves will be speaking at the 2012 annual conference of the Canadian Public Health Association, on June 14, 2012. Andrea, who acted as one of the counsel (with Owen Rees and Fredrick Schumann) to the CPHA in its intervention in the Supreme Court of Canada in the highly-publicized Insite case prohibiting the Minister of Health from closing down Canada’s first public safe-injection site, will be speaking on the subject “Insight: Public Health’s Day in Court”.
