As a director of Canadian Journalists for Free Expression (CJFE), Stockwoods partner Phil Tunley is among the delegates to the 13th General Meeting and Conference being held on October 7-12, 2007 by the International Freedom of Expression eXchange (IFEX), in Montevideo, Uruguay. Formed in 1992, IFEX is a network of 72 member free expression organizations around the world, including CJFE. CJFE manages the common services provided by the IFEX network on behalf of all its members. The conference includes panel discussions on Impunity, Advocating for Legal Change, and Media Concentration and Diversity, among others.
