Like others, we are very much aware of the COVID-19 pandemic and have been adopting responsible measures to protect public health, including the health of our staff, lawyers, clients and participants in the justice system. We have long since implemented hygiene protocols and travel-monitoring practices, particularly for travel outside Canada. At this time our office remains open and operating as normal, but we are monitoring the situation closely as it develops in Ontario and this may change on short notice in response to the evolving public health advice from the federal and provincial governments as well as in response to updates from the Courts.
In the event of further measures being necessary, contingencies are in place to ensure our lawyers and staff remain accessible remotely, and capable of completing all filings, appearances, communications and other obligations regardless of physical presence at our office.
