Acting for Perrigo International Inc. and Perrigo New York, Inc. in a proposed class action in the Federal Court alleging that the generic prescription drug industry has been tainted by an long-running price-inflation and market-allocation conspiracy, and seeking five billion dollars in damages.
Acting for 38 provincial, territorial and regional real estate boards located across Canada in a proposed class action alleging that the market rules related to the payment of commissions to purchasers’ agents violate the Competition Act.
Acting for the City of Windsor and Town of Tecumseh in class proceedings centred on licensing fees that the municipalities charged religious and charitable organizations in exchange for the right to operate gaming events.
Acting for Transform Shared Service Organization in a data breach class action brought against our client and a number of hospitals in southwestern Ontario for whom our client provides IT services.
Acted for TD Bank in class proceedings alleging a conspiracy to fix prices in the foreign exchange market.
Acted for Bell Canada in a proposed class action arising out of Bell’s contract to provide telephone services in Ontario correctional facilities.
Acted for Eric Paul, the former Chair of CannTrust, in class proceedings alleging breaches of the Securities Act regarding the alleged unlicensed growing of cannabis.
