Stockwoods partner Aaron Dantowitz will take part in a panel presentation on social media at the upcoming Ontario Regulatory Authorities’ continuing professional development (CPD) gathering on May 10, 2016. Aaron will discuss legal aspects of social media use, including the scope for disciplinary action against staff for conduct on their personal social media accounts, and potential areas of liability of an organization for social media use on behalf of the organization, or in a forum provided by the organization, such as liability for defamation.
