Bench and Bar Committee co-chaired by Paul Le Vay reports to Attorney-General on Access to Justice in French

A Bench and Bar Committee co-chaired by Stockwoods’ lawyer Paul Le Vay and Ontario Court of Appeal Justice Paul Rouleau has delivered its report entitled ‘Access to Justice in French’ to Ontario Attorney General John Gerretsen.  The report, which was requested by the Attorney General, examines specific questions relating to the delivery of justice services in French before the Ontario Courts.  Mr. Le Vay is currently the President of the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario, a lawyers’ organization whose mandate it is to promote access to justice in the French language.
