Stockwoods congratulates our colleague Carlo Di Carlo, who will be joining the OBA Section Executive for Class Actions Law effective August 2017.
Carlo’s practice focuses on corporate/commercial civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on class actions. He has been involved in several important class proceedings, including the Pennyfeather v Timminco Ltd matter as well as acting (with another Stockwoods colleague) as amicus curiae to the Court of Appeal in Bancroft-Snell v Visa Canada Corporation, now the leading decisions on the scope of authority of a judge to review a settlement agreement in a class action.
