David Stockwood Advocacy Award winner for 2011-2012

The David Stockwood Advocacy Award at U of T Law School has been awarded to Alannah Grady, a third year student. Alannah volunteers as a mock trial coach in a high school law program and conducts criminal cases on a pro bono basis at the Law School’s Downtown Legal Services clinic. She will article with Toronto Crown Attorney’s office. The David Stockwood Advocacy Award was created by Stockwoods LLP and is funded by the firm and other friends of David’s. The award benefits students in their second or third year at U of T Law School who have demonstrated an interest in and aptitude for advocacy through their participation in advocacy work in one of the University’s legal clinics.
