On February 26, 2020, our partner Gerald Chan co-chaired the Advocates’ Society inaugural program on “Digital Evidence for Litigators”. The program included panels on how to gather and preserve digital evidence, how to present digital evidence in court, and the ethical challenges that arise in the handling of digital evidence. Leading practitioners from the criminal and civil litigation bars presented on the various topics. And the Honourable Justice Paul Schabas (Superior Court of Justice) joined a number of the panels to provide views from the bench.
