Stockwoods lawyers argue insider trading case at the Supreme Court of Canada

Nader Hasan and Gerald Chan are counsel to the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association (BCCLA) in an important insider trading case at the Supreme Court of Canada.  The Court will have to decide whether an accused is entitled to a jury trial for this offence given that the maximum punishment under the Securities Act is 5 years less a day imprisonment plus a fine of up to $5 million.  Gerald will be arguing on behalf of the BCCLA.  You can watch a webcast of the hearing here.
