Stockwoods lawyers Phil TunleyJohanna Braden and Brennagh Smith were successful on behalf of the Broadcast Consortium (CBC/Radio Canada, CBC, Global and TVA)  in resisting an Application by Elizabeth May, the leader of the Green Party, for an order requiring that she be included in the Federal leadership debates held on April 12 and 15, 2011.  The Reasons of the Federal Court of Appeal (Nadon J.A.) dismissing the Applicant’s motion to expedite the proceeding can be found athttp://www.canlii.org/en/ca/fca/doc/2011/2011fca130/2011fca130.html
